Good technique. How's the flavour- is it pure cinnamon, or more toasted and smokey, and could you get the same effect from a drop of essential oil? If you're only scenting the packet and not flavouring the product, it might be a more cost-effective solution.
Does the heat not have an effect on the chocolate?
It's closer to pure since the volcane produced forced hot air that is not hot enough to burn the cinnamon, merely push volatile aromatic particles out. And again, heat is not enough to dmage chocolate
