JAMES BEARD AWARD NOMINATION

I am thrilled to announce that "The Modern Cafe" has been nominated for a James Beard Award under the category of Cooking From a Professional Point of View. The awards are on May 6th in NYC. You bet I'm going to be there, with bells on!

  4. Congratulations Chef! Well deserved. I wonder how many of them have simply read it or actually tried executing the various formulas. If they've done the latter, then they'll know it surpasses many books on the industry. I can't say I've read who all is in the running for the award, but your book is definitely worthy of such a title.
